The Xesta Catapult Rod series is a line of offshore casting rods, proudly made in Japan, designed for targeting large pelagic species such as tuna, kingfish, and GT. The rods are engineered to combine power blank technology, refined from jigging, with casting blank technology, developed through shore jigging, to achieve long casting distances and precise lure presentation. They feature a fast taper and firm blanks for accurate approaches to fish boils, while also incorporating a powerful, torquey butt section to absorb the runs of strong fish and reduce angler fatigue during prolonged fights. The series utilizes P color MN guides (SiC-J, SiC-S) with all-double wrapping for durability and a P color MN top guide to prevent line tangles, ensuring reliable performance during intense battles.
