DEPRIVE’s concept is to be the big bait that perfectly fits your usual Seabass game.
Many big baits were originally designed for Bass, and when used with spinning tackle, issues like excessive weight and tail stress become inevitable. It was the determination of anglers who wanted to overcome these challenges that sparked this project.
The hard aspects such as design and development were handled by DUO, while the soft aspects like action and detailed settings were entrusted to Coreman. After many twists and turns, the first jointly developed item was finally completed. Equipped with a unique connecting mechanism that induces a slight “twist” in the body at the joint, the lure achieves a smooth lift and a solid winding feel when water flows over the joint during retrieval. Its action features a seductive S-curve unique to a dual-joint design, yet there are moments within its slalom-like movement when the action briefly falters, creating an exquisite pause.
The weight is set to a quasi-suspending configuration, acting as a slow-sinking lure in freshwater and a slow-floating lure in saltwater. Perfect for big Seabass in the ocean that selectively prey on fish like Gizzard Shad and Sardine! Ideal for aggressive big Seabass that hunt Ayu around river rapids in late autumn!
